With Google messages, you can share your live location. The information can run in the background to enable someone keep trace of your whereabouts. It’s useful in many ways.
You can turn on the live location feature when you want to share your location with someone to meet with them. You can also use the feature to enable someone track your location. This is very important especially if you don’t feel safe or sense trouble in an area you find yourself in.

Before long, this feature will be available in Google Messages, though for now, it’s only found in Android’s Find Hub. According to reports, Google’s plan is to integrate the live location tracking feature into the app.
Probably this version integrated into Messages will work the same way as it’s found in Android’s Find Hub. The Find Hub feature lets you share your location, with your avatar appearing on a map. Other people can also share their location with you at the same time. With this, it won’t be difficult to show the exact place they are.
The feature makes it less stressful to meet with someone, especially in a busy city or location. You can either keep it on permanently or set durations that will automatically turn it off once it’s time. It brings this regular update to enable you see where people are at any given time.
The feature with all the capabilities is available in Find Hub for now. But with the new finding, Google is likely to make it part of Messages in the future. However, strong competitors like WhatsApp have this feature available.
