Since Samsung removed the Bluetooth capabilities from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen last year, the possibility that there would be a Bluetooth-powered S Pen for the S26 Ultra seemed unlikely.

Sahil Karoul, a YouTuber who purchased a Galaxy S26 Ultra unit shows a video that confirms this. According to the hands-on video of the S26 Ultra, the S Pen doesn’t come with Bluetooth functionality. It will only function as a stylus.
Bluetooth-enabled S Pens of the past let users use the stylus as a tiny remote for all sorts of tasks. It served as a remote shutter for the camera app, swiping through photos in the gallery or controlling presentation slides.
The absence of Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen on the S25 Ultra triggered rumours that Samsung is likely looking to completely ditch stylus support on its Galaxy S Ultra line. Though this is untrue as it reflects in the S26 series.
